2 When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt
find two men by Rachel's sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and
they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and,
lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying,
What shall I do for my son?
3 Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt
come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God
to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread,
and another carrying a bottle of wine:
4 And they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of
bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands.
5 After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is
the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come
thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down
from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp,

thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
3 And he humbled thee, and suffered
thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did
thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread
only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth
man live.

Pastor Faith Oyedepo: Sunday January 10, 2016 daily devotional
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” - Matthew 7:7-8 Thomas Edison once said, “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” Most times, people usually look for the easiest way out, whereas that easy way might lead to no way at all. Every profitable venture calls for hard work. Labour is what gives value to any given pursuit in life. However, to receive great rewards and preserve your physical labour, you must first labour spiritually. Certain forces behind your ordeals in life will not let you go, without you labouring spiritually.
This spiritual labour requires putting your flesh under subjection to empower your spirit man for dominion. That is what you do in a fast. Fasting is not all about absence of food, but it must be accompanied by effective and scheduled prayer sessions as well as searching of the Scripture for answers. This year of from glory to glory must be your best year ever! However, for that to happen, you must be willing to pay the price of hard work in prayers and fasting. I sincerely long to see you at the top, but you must labour spiritually to get there. Read this testimony to build your faith: Divine Vengeance! “My grandmother had been behind the afflictions in my family. Although she was confronted with the death of my parents, she denied being responsible. When the 21-day prayer and fasting for 2012 began, I participated wholeheartedly and believed God for a change of story in my family.
During the second vigil on January 20, 2012, I was unable to attend the service because I was on duty at work. However, I connected and watched it online. During the service, the Bishop instructed us to declare fire on our enemies and I did. Few days later, I received a call from my aunt in Malawi that my grandmother got burnt and could not walk since the night of the vigil. She informed me that the fire only burnt her and not the room where she was. Today, things are working well for my family. I give God all the glory for avenging me!” — Sis. Twammie (Cape Town, South Africa) As you labour diligently in prayer and fasting, I see God avenging on your behalf. Everyone holding your glorious destiny bound shall give way for you this time in the name of Jesus Christ!
Remain Blessed! Pastor Faith Abiola Oyedepo is the wife of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a. Winners’ Chapel, and Senior Pastor of Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Nigeria.
