Pastor Faith Oyedepo: Thursday January 14, 2016 daily devotional – Declare Boldly the Word!

Topic: Declare Boldly the Word! [Thursday 14 January, 2016]

“Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee… Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”-Job 22:27-28

God’s Word is ever valid! It stands true at any point in time, in any situation and under any circumstance. You can always count on the validity of the Word of God. From the above Scripture, it is evident that God does not store our prayers. He has a responsibility to answer them, but there are certain requirements that we must meet to get our prayers answered. One of which is bold declarations.

So many people approach their issues timidly that is why they don’t receive answers to their prayers. The challenges of life does not require gentility, you need to declare boldly if you must get a rapid positive response to your demand. You have prayed and cried enough over that situation, it is time to speak boldly and with the authority of God’s Word. Every challenge will always bow to the authority of the Word. So, you must learn to use the ever-winning tool of bold declaration.

Read this testimony carefully:

“I joined this Commission in 2009. I got married in 2011 and became pregnant. Since then, I battled with fibroid that threatened the baby in the womb. The doctors advised that I pray fervently, otherwise, the fibroid would eat up the baby. However, I delivered safely.

Since then, I experienced several miscarriages as a result of the fibroid, which later became two large ones. When the 21-day prayer and fasting commenced, I engaged fully in it even though it was my first time. On the last day of the fast, the Bishop instructed that when we get home we should speak to that issue of concern in our lives. At six o’ clock, when I was about to break my fast, I called the fibroid by name and touched my stomach. I said, ‘Today, the Bishop said you must come out. I don’t know how you will come out, but you will either dissolve or come out.’

Subsequently, my husband took me to a professional doctor on fibroid, so as to remove it through operation. After being examined, he said I do not have fibroid anymore. I give God all the glory!”—Tochukwu Okafor

There is no situation beyond the power of God and God’s Word represents His power. Therefore, as you speak boldly His Word to that issue of concern, it will finally bow this time in the name of Jesus Christ! Your liberty is finally here!
