SCRIPTURE: For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Psalm 5:12.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
We can see from our anchor Scripture that the God who owns the universe is eager to make us, His children, shining examples of His affluence by the instrumentality of His favour. We connect the favour of God as His children when we live an upright life.
One of the greatest benefits of living an upright life is the favour of God. When a person consciously chooses the path of righteousness, he automatically positions himself under the umbrella of Divine favour. Uprightness is not merely about avoiding wrong; it is about deliberately aligning one’s life with God’s Will and standards.

The Scripture reveals that God does not give favour occasionally to the righteous; He surrounds them with it. God’s favour is not seasonal or accidental; it is intentional and consistent (Psalm 5:12).
A shield is designed for protection, defense, and preservation. It surrounds a soldier, intercepting attacks and absorbing blows. In the same way, God’s favour surrounds the upright, shielding them from destruction, unnecessary battles, and hostile forces. Where others struggle, upright people enjoy ease. Where others are resisted, the righteous are helped.
That is why Proverbs 16:7 says, When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
When a person’s life pleases God, heaven responds to them with unusual kindness, favour begins to speak on their behalf, doors open for them without struggle, and the resistance of the enemy against them weakens. Even those who don’t naturally like you will suddenly feel compelled to favour you when God’s favour is on your life.
The mystery of Divine favour is that it neutralizes hostility, dismantles opposition, and turns hearts favourably in your direction. You don’t need to lobby for the favour of man when your life pleases God. Integrity advertises you where your voice cannot reach.
For example, Esther was not the loudest or the most demanding among the young women presented before the king, yet favour distinguished her (Esther 2:15).
Beloved, integrity has a voice. It speaks in boardrooms where you are not present; it testifies on your behalf in meetings you are not invited to; it defends you when accusations arise. Uprightness creates a reputation that opens doors long before you arrive.
A member of our church once shared a remarkable testimony. He was approved as the sole supplier of a particular product for a company. All other suppliers were removed. The company did not make this decision emotionally but based on empirical evidence compared with other suppliers. What stood him out was his honesty, consistency, and integrity.
Beloved, integrity is not just a good behaviour; it is a spiritual capital. Upright living creates an atmosphere around your life that attracts help, kindness, open doors, and Divine opportunities. So, choose integrity even when no one is watching.
Remember this: Integrity advertises you where your voice cannot reach.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
Consciously maintain uprightness in all your dealings—public or private.
Trust God for His favour as you continue to walk in righteousness and Godly character.
PRAYER: Father, I receive grace to walk in integrity and uprightness. Deliver me from every temptation unto crookedness, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
