The Bible says: Honour your parents. This is not a mere statement; it is a commandment every child of God must obey. If you want to live long, you must honour your parents. As a child of God, you should never attempt to raise your hands against your parents or be rude to them. This is because of the law of the harvest: you will surely reap what you sow. What you do to your parents now will determine what your children will do to you.
I want to appeal to you to honour your parents if you want to live long to enjoy your old age and the blessings of God. Your parents have a part to play in fulfilling your destiny, no matter how strict they are. God brought you into this world through them, so the least you can do is to honour them. You will bring a curse on yourself if you dishonour your parents.
