President Buhari had earlier turned down a request by senior government officials to buy new cars worth N400 million for his use.
The story is, however, different with the leadership of the National Assembly.
Senate President Bukola Saraki and House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara’s motorcades have remained unchanged.
Saraki and Dogara’s convoys comprise of an average of 10 vehicles each.
Sarak’s convoy is sometimes longer when going for functions outside the National Assembly.
